Vulcan VCCG60-AS Description
The VCCG60-AS Heavy Duty Griddle from Vulcan is a highly dependable countertop griddle that runs on gas and comes in at 60” wide. Its thermostatic controls make sure food is cooked accurately making the results easily repeatable. Atmospheric burners apply even heat to the 1” thick polished steel griddle plate which provides plenty of thermal mass to keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent without hot or cold spots.
Precise control of the temperature is provided by five control knobs that can be set from 200°F to 550°F to get the results you need. To evenly apply heat to the griddle plate the five 30,000 BTU/hr atmospheric burners are spaced 12” apart. For ease of use, this griddle comes with a pilot protection system and electronic ignition.
Stainless steel on the front, sides, and front top ledge makes it easy to wipe down the exterior of the griddle and makes sure it maintains its looks for many years. Internally, the chassis is made from fully welded aluminized steel for durability. Grease is easily removed from the griddle top and into a large 6 qt. stainless steel grease drawer. The drawer is easy to remove for emptying from the front of the unit.
This griddle is mounted on adjustable 4” legs to make keeping it level easy and its cooking height is 14.7”.
The total gas input of this griddle is 150,000 BTU/hr, to connect it to a standard 120v outlet it comes with a 6’ cord complete with a NEMA 5-15 plug.
