The KODB66-C 6' x 6' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is one of the best ways to quickly expand your business’ walk-in cooler capacity outdoors with a reliable unit that can stand up to the elements. This walk-in coolers with top mounted compressor unit has 168 cu. ft. of internal volume.

The 4” thick wall panels feature 26 gauge steel on both sides protected by stucco-embossed corrosion-resistant coatings. To achieve an R-value of 25 foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation makes up the majority of each panel. The lightweight and durable panels feature male and female mating rails to ensure alignment while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an airtight fit. Panel gaskets on the outer perimeter have no breaks or cuts at the corners. Each ceiling and floor panel has foamed-in-place edge caps that can’t come loose compared to those that are overlapped or mechanically fastened.

By default, the door that comes with this unit is 26” wide with a stepped profile that impedes airflow for a more energy-efficient door. This door comes with two hinges both of which are cam-lift and adjustable. This allows the door to be easily adjusted over the lifetime of the walk-in as it settles. The door also comes with a spring-assisted door closer to make sure it’s never left ajar. The pre-hung door comes in a 4’ wide panel complete with magnetic stainless steel trim, vapor proof LED lighting with a switch connected to an external indicator light, perimeter heater wire (replaceable), and a digital thermometer. To keep the contents secure, this walk-in comes with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers never get locked in the interior of the door panel has a safety release.

The temperature inside this walk-in is kept between 35°F and 38°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPB050JC-E-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 3654 BTU/hr of cooling potential. This walk-in’s temperature is set and maintained efficiently by the Enviro-Control™ panel. This unit is used to set the temperature, adjust the defrost timer, or manually start defrosting. A single piece of 35 mill membrane is included to protect this walk-in from the elements. The white roof material does not need to be glued or seamed into place on the roof, metal flashing is included to secure it to the sides of the walk-in with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
