This Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker is rated to produce a maximum of 541 lbs of flake ice every 24 hours. This water cooled ice machine is wired to use 115/60/1-ph power and requires 14.4 amps of current. To produce 100 lbs of ice this unit uses 68.4 gallons of cooling water, 12 gallons of potable water, and 3.8 kWh of power.

A water cooled flake ice machine is ideal if you don’t want extra heat being introduced in the area where the unit is installed. While remote condenser units offer the same functionality it might not be possible to drill holes in for routing refrigerant lines. As long as water and power are available in a location, a water-cooled ice maker can be used.

The industrial-grade roller bearings in this ice maker will allow it to operate for several years without maintenance. The SystemSafe load monitoring in this unit is always checking the workload on the gearbox and will shut the unit down if too much stress is being applied to components to protect the unit from damage.
