The Vulcan 36C-3BP is a restaurant-grade range that saves you time, space, and resources by allowing you to prepare several food products at once. Built with robust stainless steel sides, front, and backriser and a fully MIG welded aluminized steel frame, this 36” range is sure to last even in the most stressful commercial kitchen environments. Its (6) 30,000 BTU open-top burners and (1) 35,000 BTU convection oven are designed with the needs of the kitchen professional in mind, ensuring that everything you require to prepare high-quality food products quickly and efficiently is at hand.
Innovative Flash-Tube Ignition System
The Vulcan 36C-3BP is a propane gas-powered range that uses a flash-tube pilot ignition system, with (1) pilot for (2) burners. The ignition system is shrouded for extra reliability to reduce the chance of the pilots running out. If you prefer to use a spark ignition system, you may avail of a spark igniter for an additional fee. This includes flame failure devices for each of the burners. All burners can be manually controlled using cool-touch burner knobs. They have lift-off heads that can be raised easily during cleanup. An extra-deep crumb tray with welded corners is also available to collect food debris. The tray can be pulled out for easy cleaning.
The range top uses heavy-duty cast iron grates with built-in aeration bowls. The front grates are 12” x 12 ½” to accommodate medium pots and pans. For larger cooking vessels, the rear grates are larger at 12” x 14 ½”. You may also opt to have a rear burner converted into a step-up burner at an additional charge. This can open up extra room for your range top so that kitchen staff can easily reach all burners when preparing multiple items at the same time.
26 3/8” Convection Oven
The range base is composed of a convection oven that lets you prepare cooked or baked products while food is cooking on the burners. The oven has a heavy-duty stainless steel door with a hinge spring mechanism that requires no adjustment. The oven chamber has a porcelain floor that allows for convenient cleaning and comes with (3) baking racks that can be positioned at (4) different heights. Each rack can accommodate a full-size sheet pan side to side. You may also include an extra 26” rack to take full advantage of the available baking space. The convection oven uses a 1-phase fan motor to blow hot air into the cavity for fast and uniform cooking. You can adjust the temperature of the oven from 250° F to 500° F.
Additional Features and Accessories
The range has a stainless steel high shelf that you can use for placing finished food products. For an extra fee, you may opt to have a 10” stub back installed in place of the back riser. The entire unit stands on 6” legs made of stainless steel to ensure they can bear the weight of its components. If you prefer to have some mobility for your range, you can include a set of adjustable or non-adjustable casters for an additional fee. A set of seismic legs with flanged feet that can be attached to the kitchen floor is also available for a fee.
The range may also come with a slew of accessories to help make food preparation more efficient. These include a 36” cutting board, condiment rail, and towel rack, all of which can be installed for an extra fee. You may also purchase left and right fryer shields to keep the range top free from oil splatters during frying.
Optional Salamander Broiler
To give your food products a nice finishing touch, you may want to include an optional salamander broiler with your range. The salamander comes at an additional charge and is available in (5) different configurations. If you prefer an electric unit, you may choose from a 208v/3-ph, 240v/3-ph, and 480v/3-ph salamander. All electric units are field convertible to 1-ph. For gas options, an infrared salamander rated at 30,000 BTU and a 30,000 BTU unit with heavy-duty burners are available.
All salamanders are built with tough stainless steel tops, fronts, and sides. These dual-temperature units have a 36”-wide broiling area and a grid that can be positioned at (6) different heights. A removable grease pan comes with each salamander. For mounting the salamander, you may include an optional reinforced high shelf for an extra fee.
The Vulcan 36C-6BP has a ¾” gas connection and pressure regulator. For an additional fee, you may include a flex hose and quick disconnect with a restraining device. The flex hose comes in three different sizes: 1” x 4’, 1 ¼” x 4’, and ¾” x 4’.
