If your business needs an air-cooled commercial ice maker that is compact enough to fit in small spaces with 36 pounds of ice storage while utilizing 230v/50/1-ph power, the Scotsman CU0715MA-6 Essential Ice™ Ice Machine with Bin could have everything your business needs. With a maximum 24-hour ice production of 80 lbs, this ice machine provides convenient access to ice with a small footprint. The ⅞ inch x ⅞ inch x ⅞ inch ice cubes produced by this unit are great for use in beverages since the ice form is slow melting due to its size.
The Scotsman CU0715MA-6 Essential Ice™ ice machine with bin is only 15” wide, 24” deep, and 38” tall (height includes 6” legs that are height adjustable). These dimensions allow this unit to be installed in places where there isn’t much room to spare. If you need this unit to fit beneath an ADA countertop that measures 34” tall, the optional KUFM15 floor mount kit brings the overall height of the unit down to 31.9”.
The front airflow is a really important feature of this unit. This provides a regular supply of cool air to the unit and also minimizes the clearance it needs around it. Accessing and cleaning the air filter is a breeze since it is situated at the front of the device. Easy access to the air filter allows operators to clean the air filter more frequently which allows the ice maker to run at peak performance.
This unit efficiently uses water and power which can lower utility expenses and save you a large sum of money over time. 11 kWh of power and 30 gallons of water are consumed for the production of 100 lbs of ice.
